Busy Busy…
That’s all I can say how this weekend went!! I planned my sister in law’s baby shower at my house this past Saturday. Holly (S-I-L) is expecting a girl in January and we’re all so excited! She looks adorable pregnant. I never looked like that when I preggers, sigh… some people are so lucky! I mean really…ugh.
I needed some help to clean the house, so my little helper went right to work. What a sweet little man, but not so sweet 5 minutes later when it was time to put up the vacuum cleaner. Here came the terrible twos!
Skylar and Terry went to the children's museum, while I hosted the shower. I guess the boys didn't want to hang out with us doing girlie stuff, haha!
Also, There's no telling what he has all over his shirt.
All the presents
Holly got a lot of nice gifts. She got her tie dye onsies that Kim made. Skylar wore his a lot when he was a baby too.
Holly’s mommy bag
One of the games we played was Guess what the baby food is. :) No one liked this, haha…
Katie was trying to make a mmmm face, but …. then she tasted it.
The adorable cake. Welcome Piper!
The yummy food.
Holly and Kim posing before we cut into the cake.
I found this very simple and scrumptious recipe for the cookies you see on the plates. You need to get peanut butter cookie dough, roll them in 1 inch balls and place in a mini muffin pan. Then bake for 15 minutes and press a miniature Reece's cup in the middle of the cookie and then top with granola or m&ms….. All I can say, is YUM!!

I had a great time hosting this shower. I can’t wait until little Piper’s here.

Happy Halloween
Our Halloween didn’t go as plan earlier today, because of the weather, but it turned out great when it was time to go trick or treat for C-A-N-D-Y!!
Getting ready
I drew a mustache and beard on him to complete his look, ha!
He rather eat his sword than look at the camera
No more pictures. I’m ready to go mom!!
My little pirate! He did so well, when walking up to the houses. He would say trick or treat the entire time we were walking up to the houses, that is UNTIL they opened the door. He then fell silent, hah! Also, he tried walking into their houses as soon as they opened up their doors, lol.
We only went to about 8 houses and decided to come home and check out what we got. Skylar was very happy on his selection too. Again this year, our house didn’t get any trick or treaters, so I have a HUGE bowl of candy that Terry and I both plan to bring to work to give away. :)

Forgotten Pictures…
I forgot about these pictures when we went to the fair in Greensboro. My friend won free tickets for the fair, which included the fair admission, parking pass and tickets for the rides and well she couldn’t go, so I got them. :) Ahhh, it pays off to kiss up be nice to your friends, huh? Also, as you can tell, Skylar was masking his enthusiasm, by being well…“Skylar”. :) Ha…I swear we don’t torture him to do things.

Off to the "Punkin" Patch...
We had a great weekend. Terry is feeling 100% better and just has a dry cough now. It was tough for me to do everything by myself for basically 2 weeks. I'm just glad Skylar and I dodged the bullet for the time being on getting the flu.
On Sunday, we finally got to go to the pumpkin patch after two weeks of sitting couped up at the house (weather and sickness). So, it was nice to leave and go to a little farm not too far from our house. The last time we went to a pumpkin patch was when Skylar was 3 months old, so needless to say, we were very excited! We went on a hayride as well, but I didn't get any pictures of that while we were riding. I had to make sure my little man didn't try to climb out. :)Here are some pics.

Peek a Boo, I see you…
Of this big straw tractor.
He plopped on down on the pumpkins.
Riding with my little man on these cows that were being pulled by a tractor. It was too cute!
Skylar loved this the most. Tractors!!
