Not too shabby huh?

I will say this time and time again, "gotta love craigslist!" With a gallon of stain and a new tarp to add, this little face lift turned out pretty well. Of course, we still want to add a few things to it, but for now, it's definitely serving it's purpose. Oh and by the way, this swing set cost 75 dollars (see Dr. Evil's pose below). Cough, cough...made sure I threw that in there.

Below is the before picture. :)
Below are the after pictures.

The many faces of whee..

Oh, he says "whee", when he wants to swing. He's a funny sweet little man.

Fun outing at the park

We have been planning this park outing/picnic, which equals fun fest 2009 at Dan Nicholas Park in Salisbury for a few months now. It's so hard to get everyone together especially in the Summer time, that you have to plan months in advance, right? Well let me tell you, it was well worth the planning. This park has everything!! I mean, anything that your kiddo would want to play with and of course that mom and dad would want to play with too!

This outing was with several of our good friends from our old neck of the woods. Oh, how we miss them!! Of course, it's hard to take group shots and boy did we take lots, but let's just say, none made the cut to post. ha!

You can't tell what this is, but Skylar loved this train thing at the playground. He kept saying choo choo and then screamed when we tried to go somewhere else to play.

Finally ok with leaving the playground and riding the actual train that was there at the park.

My little goat...baaaah.

We tried getting all the kids in this photo op, but not everyone was cooperating, aha! At least we tried, right? (the Scarecrow is 1 year old Camryn and the Cow is 3 year old Ty)

He sure was quiet on the way home. :)

Comparison pics

LAST YEAR June 2008

We had a little fun in the sun today. I brought out the baby pool that Skylar loved last year and realized that we might need to get a bigger pool this summer.

Side note-I'm so jealous of all of you that have neighborhood pools!! :0)

THIS YEAR June 2009

Wrapped and waiting for round two with the water. :)

Gotta love craigslist....

We have been searching craigslist for any outdoor fun toys that Skylar would love to play with and me others can play with as well in this gorgeous weather we've had....well since it stopped raining that is.

We got this little gem for a steal! :) I was stalking on craigslist late one night this weekend and found it. Yaaay for bargains!

"Jump...Jump...Jump" as Skylar says.

Fun in Marion

Today we had a busy day of a wedding and a 4 year old birthday party. Fun times!!

Terry's cousin Savannah got married today and looked so pretty in her dress. Skylar who is usually smitten over blonds, made the exception and went to her immediately. I don't have the heart to tell him that she's officially taken and that she's also blood-related family. ha-ha

Regardless of the place or time, we can never get a good, sitting still and with a huge smile on his face picture. haha
Same for number 2
At least Grandma (which I think just changed to maw maw now) was excited for the picture.
Grand-Pa and Skylar (his blue steele pose)

We had a fun time at Xavier's 4 year old Birthday pool party after the wedding, which I did get several pictures of, but Terry was the one swimming with Skylar the whole time and Begged kindly asked me that I not post them. :)

Just pictures

I promise to have something interesting to say, but just not this time, ha! Here are some pics of what we have been doing. All random of course. :)

Determined for something
Being silly

Really looking sweet here. He has got me so wrapped, it's scary.

Getting into mischief here

At the wine festival in Tanglewood last weekend. We watched the Plaids (80's band) play and enjoyed wonderful wine with friends as well!

Get down Skylar (That's our new favorite saying at the house)
