Day 1 at SeaWorld

I used to want to be a marine biologist when I was a kid, so I could work with the dolphins and whales at SeaWorld.  It’s funny that I remember that, considering that I never seen these animals up-close or have ever been to SeaWorld.  Needless to say, I was not disappointed.  I didn’t realize that SeaWorld was more than just live shows for the creatures of the sea.  There’s a whole theme park of fun there too.  Huh, who knew?  Oh yeah….probably everybody that’s been there before.  If you haven’t gone, it’s wonderful!  Skylar was so excited to see the sharks and whales.  We went with our friends that just moved down to FL recently.  We also stayed with them while we were down there.  :)

This is our family picture before we sweated out booties off!  It was about 105 to 110 everyday.  Also, on the right picture, you can see the word Jesus in the Sky.  There was a plane writing all things in the sky, it was awesome!

They had a dolphin nursery there with nursing moms with their babies and pregnant moms.  It was so sweet.

Skylar did not like this ride, aha!  Poor guy did not like the way it went up and down so fast.  He didn’t cry, but he didn’t smile either.  :(

I love how Terry is the only “adult” on the ride.

Skylar loved these rides. I think Matt and Terry did too.  ;)

kids (1 of 1)

Katie took this picture.  Terry, Matt and I were riding a roller coaster that Katie didn’t want to ride, so she watched the kids.  I was worried about that, because Skylar is not as calm and easy going as Emma and well Jack can’t walk yet, so Skylar is the one you really need to watch.  Apparently Skylar and Emma pulled a fast one on Katie and she ended up buying them all whales, ahah and they were eating snacks and laughing. Good thinking Katie.

I'm so happy you guys got to do Sea World! I did the one in San Diego and just had a blast. I loved the Shamu show the best oo(altho sadly, the original Shamu died when animal activists insisted he be brought back to sea. Why bring a creature which has been domesticated back to the wild, albeit an ocean?) Annyhoo, I digress. I still haven't finished putting everything away from MY vacay, and I haven't gone through my gazillion pics to figure out what will go in my blog and what will go in FB, but I'll get there. I can't wait to see your Disney pics! Matt, Katie, Emma, and "Baby Jack" look great btw. Hugs to all of them! Thanks for the vacay updates. Everyone looked so happy and and I could tell that all of you had so much fun! That's what vacays are all about, right?!?
