It's Official!!

I HATE Bathing Suit Season!! I left during my lunch break (not a good idea) and shopped for bathing suits and I am disgusted! haha! I was thinking as I was browsing the racks, that this one looks good and it should hide this and that and when I tried it on, I about passed out. It didn't hide this or that, it displayed more than I thought I had going on here, there and everywhere. That's the understatement. I hate VS models!! They make it nearly impossible for us, (women with children or not with children) to look like that! By the way, I totally dislike anyone who does look like a VS Model....so unfair! Just kidding....well not really. :) So, that's my rant for the day. I hope everyone is having a better day than me!

I completely agree! I hate swimsuit season, even before I had a baby. Now, it's just impossible. Things just don't look the same after pregnancy :). I resorted to the "old woman" swimsuit this year - a one piece!! I swear, I haven't worn an one-piece since I was probably 5 years old :). I only wish I would have bought a skirt as well, then I could have been a true granny at the pool this summer!!

Ahhh . . . the dreaded dressing room. I swear, I know they enlarge those mirrors or something. The are like the ones in one of those fun houses, right? Come on, it's the mirror. ha ha.

I have resorted to good ol' Lands End. They have started making smaller sizes. The are quite modest, but they have some cool patterns this year. I do the two piece kind. The kind that don't show the tummy, the halter and the mini skirt with a built in bottom. Love it, actually. LLBean has good ones as well.

Hey!

I was just at Michaels and saw the cutest "Monkey" birthday party kits in the Martha Stewart Section. They are regularly $29 and are on sale for $9.99. I am so jealous!

Anyways....it made me think of you.
